Hall users will be aware that since the Hall re-opened there have been a few problems with the new floor installed during the 51 week closure period in 2016-2017.
The council carried out a temporary repair a few weeks ago, prior to replacing the floor completely. This was provisionally scheduled for the schools’ Half Term week (16th – 20th October) to cause minimum disruption to the majority of hall users, and should not take more than a week.
Regular hall users have already been informed of these dates, and we are not accepting bookings for individual events (parties etc) for the weekends before and after Half Term.
We will contact anyone with a pre-existing booking should these dates be changed by the Council.
