‘Jazz in the Village’ comes to Juniper Green
The Saxophone/Piano duo are based in Edinburgh. You may already have encountered them in Edinburgh at Henry’s Jazz Cellar or the National Museum of Scotland, but they don’t limit their performances to the local area. Festival appearances have included Edinburgh, Glasgow, Fife and Borders Jazz Festivals and Buxton and Bath Fringe Festivals. They have also played to enthusiastic audiences in a range of venues across the UK – Arts Centres and small theatres from Aberdeen to Bath, Maidenhead to Winchester and Windsor, and even Brussels (OK – that’s not the UK!), while their regular rural ‘Jazz in the Village’ series has covered John O’Groats to Devon and Dorset, visiting hundreds of halls, often bringing Jazz to remote communities for the first time.
Juniper Green is not so remote! So do join us at the Village Hall on Saturday 6th October from 8pm. This is your chance to hear this talented duo live without having to travel far from your home.
Tickets: £10pp (under 16s FREE if accompanied by an adult). Tickets are limited and available on a first come, first served basis. They can be bought in advance at the Hall when the janitor is on duty, Mon-Fri, afternoons/evening only – (0131) 458-3751 to check. They can also be reserved via Eventbrite and will be held at the ticket desk until 15 minutes before the start of the performance, after which they will be sold on. Any other remaining/unreserved tickets will be available on the night. Email JGVHO Events for more information.
We do not have a licence to sell alcohol, so please BYOB and other refreshments.

“A unique performance, not only in its introduction of many new pieces but also in the splendidly relaxed jazz styling”
