AGM 2017

The 2017 Village Hall AGM will take place on Thursday 25th May at 7.30pm in the Village Hall again!

Refreshments will be available from 7.15pm.  All welcome!

Please do join us for an initial (mini) celebration of the re-opening of the Hall after a closure of almost 12 months.  This is your opportunity to see what work has been done since the Hall was closed on 4th May 2016, including a new DDA compliant ramp, DG windows, and re-varnished floor.

We were overwhelmed by the huge turnout at last year’s AGM in one of the Church Halls(standing room only!) when it was obvious how much the community values the Hall and supported us in our campaign to retain it as a village amenity.

This year’s AGM is your opportunity to tell us now what you would like us to do over the coming year.  What facilities are missing? What sort of events should be hold in the Hall?  How do we properly celebrate the re-opening?

Even better – if you want to influence our decision-making over the next year,  why not join the Management Committee?  Meetings take place monthly except December and July.  We would particularly welcome Youth Members to the Committee (aged 16 years or over).
